New Flow Builder and Knowledge Base are live. What changed

Where we stand

How does AI work in Chatinbox, and who stays in control?

This is not a sales page. It explains which work the AI suggests, which steps run automatically and who stays in control. The list below shows what we do today, what is waiting to be verified and what we do not do at all. The list is not written by hand — it is generated from our product record.

Short answer

In Chatinbox the AI works in two separate places. It suggests a reply to the agent, and the agent sends the suggestion. In the flows you build and in the order bot, the bot sends its answer without waiting for approval. This page keeps both layers, our working principles and where the product stands today in one place; the list is generated from our product record and each item carries the date it was verified.

Next to each item you can read when it was verified and what that rests on. An item whose review date has come is checked again; its status does not rise until it is checked.

Three limits

The whole product is built on these three sentences.

Suggestion layer

The suggestion layer cannot send

The AI suggests a reply to the agent; the decision to send it to the customer belongs to the agent. This is not a setting, it is the structure itself: the service that produces the suggestion has no connection through which it could send a message to a customer.

But we do not say "a human sends every message" about the whole product: In the flows you build, the bot sends the messages you defined to the customer without waiting for your approval. The FAQ step you add to a flow and the order bot also send their answer without waiting for approval, including answers found in the knowledge base. These are two different things and we write down both.

Safety net

The safety net is a person, before it is code

The AI also produces a suggestion for a question the knowledge base has no answer for — it does not notice on its own that its source is weak and stop. That is why the suggestion goes to the agent, not to the customer. That is where a wrong answer gets caught.

Trace

What it did stays visible

You can see which agent wrote what to which customer, which requests are still open and which conversations are waiting for follow-up. When someone looks back later, who did what has to be readable.

The agent's compose area and Reply button — a person starts the send
Where the send decision is made in the panel: the draft lands in the compose area, and it is the agent who presses "Reply". An illustrative drawing of the interface; it contains no real patient data.

Our approach to AI

In the way we work, the customer's need, clear responsibilities and results that can be checked come first. We explain separately the suggestions the AI prepares, the steps that run automatically and where the product stops today.

We start from the customer's need

In the intro call we first pin down the work to be solved: which messages are waiting, who answers them, where things get stuck. We choose the flow to build around that work.

We say who is in control

A suggestion goes to the agent, and the agent sends it. In the flows you build and in the order bot, the bot writes without waiting for approval, including answers it finds in the knowledge base. You can turn the bot off on any line from the panel, and in the order bot you can choose to have your team approve the order.

We judge results by their evidence

A demo, real use and a measured result are not the same thing. In the intro call we agree together on how success will be judged. We do not call a result a result if we have not measured it.

We show where the product stands today

We keep ready, pilot, awaiting-confirmation and planned capabilities apart in the list below. The list is generated from our product record; a capability does not move up a group without evidence.

Work we draw on

We draw on two principles from the AWS Reimagine 2026 research in the way we work: defining success before you start, and giving each result an owner. This is not a partnership, an endorsement or a certificate.

What exists today and what does not

There are six buckets and the difference between them matters. Roadmap means "we will build it"; awaiting confirmation means "we are not sure either, so we do not write it". We keep the second one separate because "I could not find the evidence" and "it does not exist" are not the same thing.

Why can you trust this list?

Because the rest of the site is fed from the same record. If a sentence describing a capability contradicts the record on this page, the page does not go live — that is not a rule left to the attention of whoever writes the marketing copy, it is a check that runs before publishing.

When an item moves to "available", this page updates itself. We do not have to remember separately — every rule left to memory is eventually forgotten.
