Chatinbox vs Kommo — Sales CRM or Patient Follow-up?

Kommo (formerly amoCRM) is a general, message-based sales CRM; Chatinbox is a patient follow-up system for Turkish clinics.

Short answer

If your team builds a classic sales funnel out of messages, Kommo is a strong choice. If you run a clinic in Turkey and want to carry patient leads from WhatsApp Business API, Instagram DM and calls into appointments and follow-up, with lira pricing and Turkish support, Chatinbox was built for exactly that.

Kommo is a message-based sales CRM; Chatinbox is a patient follow-up system for Turkish clinics. We look at both honestly, using public sources (June 2026); we do not hide where Kommo stands out.

If you are in e-commerce, the same panel works for you too. Instead of this comparison, the what is ready and what is on the way for e-commerce page (currently in Turkish) is the faster read.

In a clinic, the thing you track is the patient

Kommo lines your team up around a sales pipeline (new → meeting → offer → close). In a clinic the job is different: follow the same patient across channels without losing them, and get them to an appointment.

1

Asked for a price on WhatsApp, wrote again on Instagram DM: a general CRM may treat these as two separate "leads"; a clinic wants to see one patient.

2

Booked but did not show up: no-show measurement and a waitlist, critical for a clinic, do not come by themselves in sales pipeline logic.

3

Reminders, cancellations and reschedules: this flow repeats every day in a clinic; in a general CRM you build it yourself with automation.

Chatinbox sets this job up ready for the clinic: WhatsApp, Instagram DM and calls merge into a single patient view; reminder, cancellation and reschedule conversations run from this one screen with saved replies, and it stays clear who gets back to which patient and when.

Roadmap Appointment reminder automation, waitlist and no-show measurement are on our roadmap; today your team runs these steps from the panel. We do the setup and the flows. Kommo is a strong sales CRM; but you build the patient follow-up flow from scratch yourself.

Choose Chatinbox if…

  • You want patient conversations in one panel and to see who an open request is assigned to.
  • You run a clinic in Turkey (hair transplant, aesthetics, dental) and are after patient follow-up.
  • You want first-hand support in Turkish, without a reseller in between.
  • You want to pay monthly in lira and stay away from a 6-month up-front commitment.

Choose Kommo if…

  • Salesbot, broadcast and a wide integration marketplace (Advanced+) are your priority.
  • You are after a general, message-based CRM regardless of industry.
  • Your sales team runs a classic sales funnel/pipeline out of messages.
  • A 6-month up-front commitment does not bother you.

Honest note: Kommo is a mature CRM for teams that build a sales pipeline (Capterra 4.4 — source: Capterra, June 2026). Chatinbox is not a sales CRM; it is a tool that fits more directly the patient follow-up job of a Turkish clinic.

Price: the up-front commitment difference

Chatinbox

  • • Monthly package, from 4,200 TL (Turkish lira)
  • • Clinic messaging flows and saved-reply setup included
  • • Turkish setup + first-hand support included
  • • On top, only Meta's WhatsApp message fees

Kommo

  • • $15 / $25 / $45 per user (Base / Advanced / Pro)
  • No monthly payment (minimum 6 months up front)
  • • Automation/broadcast on Advanced and above
  • • + Meta's WhatsApp fees (all in USD)

Kommo charges per user and does not invoice monthly; the shortest term, 6 months, is paid up front (source: kommo.com/buy/tariff, June 2026). Automations like Salesbot and broadcast open from Advanced upward, not on Base. No margin is added on the WhatsApp fee; Meta bills that directly.

The Chatinbox subscription is in lira and monthly; the main part of your bill is not tied directly to the dollar rate (Meta's WhatsApp fees are set in USD in both products). The total depends on your team size and message volume.

Common objections

"Isn't Kommo stronger as a CRM?"

If we are talking about a sales pipeline (deal stages, sales funnel), yes; Kommo is a mature CRM, we accept that. But in a clinic the work runs on patient follow-up; Chatinbox's claim is to set up the patient messaging and follow-up flow ready for the clinic; appointment reminder automation and no-show measurement are on our roadmap.

"Kommo looks cheaper per user?"

At first glance it does, but there are two details: the fee grows per user and is paid at least 6 months up front (no monthly option). So even a small clinic ties up a notable amount at the start. Chatinbox is monthly and in lira.

"Kommo has a Turkish interface?"

Yes, the interface is translated into Turkish. The difference shows up in support: in Turkey, local support mostly comes through a partner/reseller. At Chatinbox, support is first-hand; it comes directly from the team that builds the product.

If you are thinking of moving from Kommo to Chatinbox

We plan your number migration

Keeping your WhatsApp Business number can be planned in most cases (depends on Meta's number migration process and your current setup); Instagram DM and phone calls connect to the same panel.

We do the setup

We take on the setup with one-to-one support in Turkish; we set up your clinic messaging flows and saved replies for you.

We plan the data together

Which of the contact and conversation data in Kommo can move is confirmed in the demo call, based on your setup.

Why you can trust Chatinbox

Clinics

One focus: patient follow-up in hair transplant, aesthetic and dental clinics

TL

Monthly, Turkish lira pricing; no up-front foreign-currency commitment

TR

Developed in Turkey, support given first-hand in Turkish

In the demo we show 3 things for your own clinic:

  • 1. How patient requests slipping through WhatsApp and Instagram DM are collected in one panel
  • 2. How patient conversations run from one screen with saved replies
  • 3. Who an open patient request is assigned to, and how follow-up looks in the panel

We only show functions that are live today; we do not promise roadmap features on a page.
