Rotate or revoke the webhook API key
Rotate gives the old key a 24-hour grace window and shows the new one once. Revoke shuts the landing webhook intake down completely.
Both buttons sit on the same card but land differently. Rotate mints a new key. The old one keeps accepting leads for 24 hours. Revoke closes the channel. Your field map stays, yet reopening the channel needs a brand-new key.
Before you start
- An active key already on the card
- For a rotation, access to update your landing page within 24 hours
- For a revoke, a decision that accepts the lead flow stopping
Step by step
These screens sit inside the Intent AI section. Sign in, open Intent AI; the menu names below are in that section's left menu.
Open the API key card
Click the landing webhook link on the Settings page.
Press rotate or revoke
The card sits first in the left column of that page.
Read the confirmation dialog
It spells out the 24-hour window, or the closed channel.
Continue with the yes option
Use cancel to back out.
Check the result on the card
A rotation shows an old-key badge; a revoke returns the generate button.
Result checkIf it did not work
Check these
- A notice about another tab means your action did not apply. Press the button again after the reload.
- If the landing page keeps the old key, lead intake stops when the 24 hours run out.
- Install the new key before then and watch the badge disappear.
- A revoked key never comes back. Mint a fresh one to reopen the channel.
