Fix phone numbers converted to scientific notation
Excel saves a phone column as a number and shows 9.05332E+11, so the wizard counts those rows invalid. Format that column as Text, then upload again.
The wizard raises a warning the moment it reads phone values in scientific notation. Those rows land in the invalid counter and never reach the list. For Excel files the panel tries to rebuild the digits. For CSV it does not, because the digits were gone when the file was saved. The repair belongs in the source file.
Before you start
- The Listeler tab enabled on your account
- An .xlsx or .xls copy of the source file
- Phone numbers of 8 to 15 digits, country code included
Step by step
These screens sit inside the Intent AI section. Sign in, open Intent AI; the menu names below are in that section's left menu.
Upload your file to the wizard
Press Veri İçe Aktar on the Listeler tab in Veri Yönetimi.
Read the warning on the summary step
Note the warning box and the figure in the invalid counter.
Set the phone column to Text in the source file
Open the file in Excel and change that column to Text format.
Retype the numbers in full
Changing the format alone will not bring back digits Excel has dropped.
Confirm the invalid count falls
Save the file as .xlsx and upload it again.
Result checkIf it did not work
Check these
- A CSV upload gets no repair, and every affected row is counted invalid. Save the file as .xlsx and upload that copy.
- If you are unsure which rows broke, press the CSV download link once the import finishes.
- The gecersiz-numaralar.csv file writes those samples out one per line.
- If the warning returns on the new file, the column is still a number. Retype into an empty column already set to Text.
