Select a WhatsApp line and approved template
You pick the send channel and the message in the middle column of the project dialog: first a WhatsApp Cloud API line, then an approved template on it.
Bulk sending runs only on a WhatsApp Cloud API line with a template Meta has approved. The template list depends on the line. Until you pick a channel the template dropdown does not appear. The template text shows up in the preview column once both are set.
Before you start
- A WhatsApp Cloud API line connected on the Lines screen
- At least one Meta-approved template on that line
- An open project dialog
Step by step
These screens sit inside the Intent AI section. Sign in, open Intent AI; the menu names below are in that section's left menu.
Open the project dialog
Click New Project on the Projects screen, or the pencil icon on a row.
Pick the line from the channel dropdown
The dropdown sits in the middle column and sets the sending line.
Pick the template from the approved list
It opens right below; each option shows the name and the language.
Look for the bubble in the preview column
A WhatsApp bubble should appear on the right.
Confirm the bubble content
Header, body and buttons rendered inside mean the line and template match.

Check these
- An empty channel dropdown means no Cloud API line was found. A QR-linked line cannot be selected here.
- A no-approved-template message may mean the template still sits in Meta review.
- If templates could not be loaded, close and reopen the dialog.
- A Plain Text button that does not respond is expected; plain-text sending is off for new projects.
Does this step look different in your panel?
We can review the screen and exact error text together.
