Create a project and select target lists
A project on the Projects screen stores the send name and its target lists, so the setup happens once and every later send reuses the same project.
A project holds the name, the target lists and the message settings of one send in a single record. You reuse it instead of building the send again. A name and at least one list are enough to save. The saved project appears in the table as a draft.
Before you start
- The Projects feature enabled for your account
- At least one saved list under Data Management
- A project name that no active project is using
Step by step
These screens sit inside the Intent AI section. Sign in, open Intent AI; the menu names below are in that section's left menu.
Open the Projects screen
Open Projects from the left menu.
Click New Project
The button sits at the top right; the dialog header reads New Project.
Name the project
The Project Name field accepts up to 120 characters.
Tick the target lists
Each row states how many contacts on that list can receive a message.
Confirm the draft row
Click Create; status reads Draft and the recipient column shows the unique phone total.
Result checkIf it did not work
Check these
- If Target Lists reports that no list exists, create one under Data Management first.
- A save that asks for a name means the field is empty. An active project with the same name also blocks the save.
- If the screen says the feature is not enabled, neither the table nor the button opens. Ask the Chatinbox team to switch Projects on.
- The channel and the template can follow later; they are not needed to save.
Does this step look different in your panel?
