Prepare a template containing an image or document
A template with an image, video or document header opens a media field in the project dialog, where you enter a public address that opens the file directly.
Picking a media-header template adds a Media field under the mapping rows. The project will not save while that field is empty. The panel takes an address, not a file upload. Preview never renders the file itself. Only a test send proves what arrives.
Before you start
- A template whose header Meta approved as IMAGE, VIDEO or DOCUMENT
- A public file address that opens without a login
- Your own WhatsApp number for the test send
Step by step
These screens sit inside the Intent AI section. Sign in, open Intent AI; the menu names below are in that section's left menu.
Select the media-header template
Choose the line in the project dialog, then pick the template from the approved list.
Look at the grey band in Preview
A header label such as Image header replaces the header text.
Enter the media address
Paste the public address of the file into the field starting with Media.
Verify the address in a separate tab
Open that same address in your browser and confirm the file loads.
Confirm the file opens in the test message
Send a test to your own number, then open the file in WhatsApp.
Result checkIf it did not work
Check these
- A save that asks for a media address means the field is empty or holds only spaces.
- If the test reports a failed send, click the error card beside the red line.
- An address behind a login, or a file type that does not match the template, stops the send here.
- Preview never shows the picture itself; the grey label band is normal.
